UPLAN leaders from across the country will present a workshop called “Parents as Decision-Makers and Policy Leaders,” sharing values of parent leadership and organizing and lessons learned. UPLAN member organizations Abriendo Puertas, Community Organizing and Family Issues (COFI), the National Parent Leadership Institute (NPLI), and Parent Voices will present about their innovative models of parent leadership and advocacy.
